Afternoon
Observation
[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
Despite the snow Sunday, Nine Mile trails will remain ungroomed. The warm temperatures and the thawing ground will cause the snow to melt much quicker. Everyone one is free to enjoy the trails if they wish.

Observation Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Partial, Bare ground ]

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Expect late spring skiing; conditions have deteriorated fast at Nine Mile this week. Bare spots are starting to show, tracks and deck were basically ice when I went out this morning, but were starting to soften up when I left. Be safe out there!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomers were out this morning to regroom after a busy weekend. While temps were warmer than we would like when grooming, we were able to reset the classic track and regroomed the skate deck. All trails are currently in fair to good condition. With the warm weather, dark spots and bare spots are becoming more prevalent, due to a very shallow base. Please ski with care and be aware. Grooming plans: Grooming operations will cease at this time, awaiting new snowfall. Bike trails at Nine Mile have been closed, with the hope that we can preserve the surface and reopen once temps are below freezing.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Excellent! Skied the 20 K and the Full Alps segment. Freshly groomed on the majority of the trails. Wide skate deck and classic tracks were groomed and clear of debris. Groomers have gotten the trails in great condition, Thanks for the continued hard work and diligently adapting to another challenging winter with minimal snow cover.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Low snow conditions with an average base of about 2". Overall, the trail system is in good conditions given the low snow. Expect some debris and bare spots. Stepping out of the track in those areas shouldn't be an issue. All skate decks, besides the Alps and Little Alps, have been regroomed this morning. THe classic track is in good shape, with a solid, deep track. Grooming plans: Maintenance grooming on the skate deck only, will take place both mornings of the weekends. We will look into resetting the classic track next week if needed and conditions allow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skate lanes were widened and combed, the classic tracks were solid and well formed. Some squiggly in spots, the tracks were recently moved left to help with the shoulders and pole placement is now solid. All in all great conditions.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails have tracks set, including the alps and little alps! There are still some dirty spots and some debris, so beware. Overall good conditions. Skied the little alps for the first time in two years, conditions were excellent. Bushwhacker was good, just some leaf debris on the south facing hills. K was in good shape as well. Tracks have set up since yesterday's groom, they are firm overall. Thanks to the grooming team for their work!

Skied the lighted trail loop in the evening. Nice trackset. Some oak leaf debris. Skate deck needs to setup a little more after the fresh snow.
