Notes

Long downhills, gathering speed and sharp turns at the bottom are distinctive of the trails you will find here. 34k of groomed trails, 24k of skate trails, 7k lighted trails in the evening until 9pm. Trails are groomed daily to manage the 200"+ of annual snowfall. Heated chalets at the Main Trailhead and Nara Trailhead.

The snow was starting to firm up when I arrived at 7 pm. Classic tracks are in good condition with only occasional leaves. Tracks were soft in places. Skate deck looked slashed up.

Another great day at Tech. All trails fresh groomed for skate and classic. Clean surface great corduroy. Looks like they might groom for awhile.

Skied the Tech trails this morning 10:00 AM. The upper trails looked to be groomed late yesterday and were excellent to ski on. The tracks were also done at the same time, both classic and skate lanes were fantastic. As we were skiing I saw the tiller grooming the comp trails. I would bet that tomorrow there is going to be some great skiing at Tech.

Tracks were solid and fast this morning. The skate deck had a dusting of snow, making it a tad slower, but not by much. Excellent conditions throughout.

I skied the upper loops and the classic tracks had been reset this morning. Tracks were solid and I had good kick. The skate deck looked firm. The groomers did a nice job mixing in the couple of inches of snow we received overnight.
