12 degrees F with maybe 10 mph wind. There was plenty of fresh snow from the last week or so. Most segments were pretty firm with a fresh YTS Ginsu groom. Most segments were classic set as well. No sign of bare ground or much debris at all.

30 degrees F and sunny. There was about 4" of new snow (from last week) on top of icy trail. All was groomed which made for a firm skate surface with an icy deck underneath. Most trails were set for classical as well. There were a few windblown open spots that were thin with a little grass showing but very little. The Fergus Falls High School team was skiing there as well. They were fairly giddy. So was I.

Spent a lovely Christmas afternoon skiing the Deer Meadow, Emma's, and Speedy trails. All were in great condition, especially considering how little snow we've had. Some leaf and stick debris but not terrible, fairly easy to avoid. Classic tracks were in good shape throughout. Used good skis, but you could use B skis if you're concerned about sticks.

Excellent condition as always! The condition was simply perfect with temps in the high 20s and all freshly groomed trails. There were very few spots either grass poking through deep in the woods. I only skated, but most trails also had classic tracks set.
