I saw the early grooming report so decided to go check things out. Base is about 1" to 1.5" and soft in a lot of places so I would stick to rock skis. Northern portion of blue loop was closed but I skied everything else. Red loop was fun and scenic, careful on the uphill leaving the ravine because it's soft with gravel underneath. Skied the yellow multi-use loop as well, which probably had best coverage but least interesting terrain.

Groomers were out early this morning and rolled the trails the best they could. The ssnow is light and soft and there is not enough to create a good base. Expect partial closure of the blue trail while forestry work is being done.
