Our track setter broke on Thursday while grooming Anvil Ski Trail, unfortunately we did not get it fixed in time to get out and groom Lauterman while temps were low. We received about 8 inches of wet snow last week. Today has been in the 50s and the snow is now icy and slushy. Grooming of Lauterman is done for the season.

Lauterman trail was groomed and tracks were set this morning. About 6 inches of fluffy snow fell over the weekend. We finally have a solid base on the trail.

Trails have not been groomed despite recent snowfall. We broke trail around the perimeter of Lauterman Lake and also the entire Little Porky Loop. A delightful first outing on this trail system that featured impressive wildlife tracks, including many spots where an owl had plunged into the snow. Some sticks here and there but we felt comfortable with our best skis.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Lauterman trail was groomed today. Tracks were set on the entire trail system. The packed trail is 3 inches deep. Tracks are very shallow in some spots, Rock or B skis are recommended. The snow is dry and fluffy so it is not packing well.
