Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Rock skis ]
Skied in the evening both Saturday and today and a lot of snow pack has been lost in the last 24 hrs. I had to pick my way through many sections of the trails this evening. So glad to have gotten a chance to ski at Rum River this winter!

We groomed Rum River Central trails today. Conditions are fair to good with a few grassy patches poking through. B Skis are recommended.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We skied the Purple loop - 2.5K. The snow was pretty fluffy, and you had to break it a bit, but there were a few classic tracks just from others skiing. People walk these trails as well which was quite evident. Overall, we had a great time for rec skiing with kids aged 10-14!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Freshly rolled, no tracks. Only skied 1 easy loop. No knowledge of majority of trails. I may have been the second user with traditional skis. No skate skiers had used trail. Was nice to have fresh snow.
