Pleasantly surprised by the conditions. A bit soft and bumpy in places but overall very enjoyable skating. Coverage is good - some pole plants were hitting ground but plenty of snow to support skating without hitting ground below. A few spots of grass sticking up through the deck on parts as noted by the groomer.

Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]

We groomed the trails at Chomonix Golf Course today. No track was set due to lack of base, but all trails were combed. Conditions on the golf course are good and B Skis would be recommended. Woods of Chomonix/Multi Use trail sections are bumpy with some bare spots. Rock skis would be recommended for those areas.

They groomed Chomonix [at least the part south of the club house. Didn't check out the north side. It looked perfect for skate skiing. Corduroy.... Unfortunately they might have taken out quite a bit of the skied-in classic trail but still wonderful out. Still plenty of classic tracks or plow your own where the walkers have been there first. No classic grooming.

No grooming on any trails for skate skiing at noon. Multiple people had made classic trails throughout. Beautiful day. Looking forward to when the grooming crew gets out.

No grooming. Lots of skier-set tracks. Snow coverage better on golf course. Somewhat thin in wooded section.
