Skied the Bremer Creek Trail under moonlight at night. Nothing better than the silence and shadows of the red Pine cast in the moonlight. Trail was icy in spots and a couple small bare spots but skiable.

My wife and I skied all trails this afternoon and they were good to excellent. Timber Wolf and Coral Berry were very good to excellent. Brehmer Creek (which gets used more) was good. Temperature was perfect! Snow was very good. Thanks to the groomer(s) for doing such a nice job.

Beautiful clear skies with perfect temps made for a great afternoon ski. Coverage is good with only minor thin areas (small) that are easily avoided. Tracks generally half depth throughout. Thanks to the Machickanee Ski Club for the work done to groom and maintain these beautiful trails.

Machickanee received 8-10" of low moisture snow on Saturday. Grooming operations were underway when I arrived. There is plenty of snow for ace groomer Dave to shape! Carpe Skiem!

[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The 4 to 5 inches of new snow packed down to about a 2 inch base. Just enough to get a decent track in most places. Thin spots exist under pine trees especially near the beginning and end of Blackberry Ramble Trail.
