Notes
Brunet Island's trails pass through an otherwise undeveloped section of the park. The terrain is rolling with plenty of hills but none very large. Skiers pass through a mix of hardwood and evergreen forest, and ski a ridge within sight of the Fisher River.Trail Reports

The Nordic Trail was groomed for classic this morning and is in very good condition. There is generally a good full track, but the are some thin spots scattered around the course.

Grooming Scheduling [ Trails Open: Most, ]

The Nordic Trail was groomed for classical skiing only today. The track generally looks excellent, but there is some scattered debris (leaves or small twigs) here and there. Use good skis but keep alert for the occasional stick. Our other trail, the candlelight loop has not been groomed yet. Brunet Island's annual Candlelight ski and snowshoe event will be held this Saturday Feb 15th, beginning at 5:00pm. Grooming plans: The candlelight Loop will be groomed for the event and remain open as long as conditions allow.
