Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The classic tracks are deep to deep enough throughout, although grassy areas are showing through from time to time and you have to step out of the tracks to avoid those. The skate deck appears to be fully covered and clean. Get on out here it's gone.

Excellent conditions here in Lodi with much more snow than Madison. Trails have been very well groomed, including tracks set on most of the trails. Skating deck was firm and wide. Just a few spots of grass showing thru on some of the tracks. Open areas in the sun didn't seem to be suffering much damage, as the temps didn't get too warm. Probably the best skiing around Madison right now. Get out and enjoy!

Went for a wonderful Christmas Day skate and classic ski across the golf course trails at Lodi. As others have mentioned, there is definitely more snow and better conditions than many places in Madison at present, and the grooming is pretty nice. Skate lanes were wide and a little slow, but in good shape with only a few patches of grass and needles under a few pines. Classic tracks were thinner, with points of exposed grass and thinner tracks under the pines, as well. All told, decent conditions across the trails and worth the visit!

Good snow cover on the entire 3K loop. Skate deck perfect. Tracks are good, with only a couple of spots where grass is peaking through. Had a very nice Christmas ski!

Trail was excellent for both classic and skate. Significantly more snow here than there is in Madison. Only a handful of spots with grass/dirt coming thru - easily avoidable.

Excellent skating conditions for the entire golf course loop! Deck has firmed up nicely and made for great skiing. A few spots with a little grass poking through, but easily avoidable. Trail into field is also open, wouldn't recommend good skis there.
