There is good coverage at Mtn View. The ski trail had not yet been groomed when I was there around 5pm. The snow had a grayish tinge today, implying dirt must have blown in with the newer snow; for that reason I suggested B skis. Otherwise there is plenty of snow and little to no risk of damage if good skis are used.

Mtn View received approximately 2" of fresh snow today, along with the high winds which eased up this afternoon. The classic tracks were covered in fresh snow. It was a good afternoon for making fresh tracks.

Classic tracks are holding up sufficiently well, despite having some fat tire tracks and foot traffic over the ski track in different places. The trails skied good enough overall, and it was a good afternoon to be out.

Mtn View has a skied-in track that is good enough to get around without any problems. The recent light snow has provided additional coverage. The track wasn't icy. I used waxless skis which worked fine on the trail this morning.
