Hiawatha Highlands is a premier destination for winter recreation and sport. Over 50 km of ski trails, 14 km of snowshoeing, as well as Fat Biking trails. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the whispering pines and the magnificent views of their winter wonderland. Trail systems cater from the beginner to the advanced skier and welcomes both classic and skate skiers. There are at least 2KM of lighted trails.

Midwest skiers heaven may be in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario this year. The snow is deep here. Hiawatha Highlands is Pisten Bully groomed, so the fresh snow that fell last night was groomed to perfection. Absolutely loved the Red Pine sector.

Great conditions and trails. Well groomed and a good variety of trails. Plenty of snow. Skate deck was firm in most areas but a little soft on the Hiawatha loop.
