Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The trails have not been groomed since the last snowfall. I followed previous skiers' tracks around the outer perimeter trail, in some open areas the snow had already blown into the tracks. There is full coverage on the trail. The only issue is shallow pole plants, although the trail is fairly flat and this was not a big issue.

Firsthand: Classic

Trails were lovely today, my first time here. Some small bare patches on south facing slopes, easy to avoid. Kudos to the groomers, classic tracks were great. Soft on some turns, but great for the temperatures.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were groomed and tracked today, including tracks on the two advanced spurs. Trail is in excellent condition. the lights on the 3k are still out. City crews have been out twice to dig up the line but they are having difficulty finding all of the breaks. They are doing a heroic job though. We will let you know as soon as it is fixed. Grooming plans: All our groomers are out of town on Saturday, so the next earliest grooming will be Sunday.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were groomed today and are in great shape although some drifting is already occurring from the winds. The lights on the 3K lighted loop are still down because of a transformer issue underground. Hope to get that fixed next week.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trail segments were groomed today, all trails were tracked except the two advanced spurs which were groomed but not tracked. Right now the trail is in the best condition of the whole winter! We have a plan to groom again on Thursday if we get a little bit more snow.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I skate-skied the outer loop and the inner loop. Conditions were pretty good for skate skiing! Slow with an inch or two of snow on top of the snow pack. There was a homemade classic track that looked quite fast. No lights on yet.

Skated the inner loop, ungroomed, plenty of snow cover thanks to previous grooming. A few other brave souls have been out.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Noah and Mike got out with the groomers this morning and were able to do 1 pass but still not enough snow to lay a track down. It's probably alright to ski with your rock skis but still not really enough to skate without hitting a lot of bumps and grass.
