Notes

Depending on snow conditions, trails vary from 5-15 kilometers of skiing from the Nature Center across the golf course to the campgrounds. Golf course is flat to rolling if groomed. Campgrounds is flat to rolling to hilly with multiple loops created that are skiable in both directions.

Firsthand: Freestyle 
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Last days at Jester Park Nature Center. Skate track is fast where it is covered but softening fast. Bare spots everywhere. Perfect day for an afternoon ski in t-shirt and shorts.

Golf course is in great shape for what we got. It is hard and fast and wind swept. All of the other trails, have lots of sticks, walnuts, leaves, and bare spots. It is skiable, but not great. Prepare to be surprised and land on the ground. There are a decent set of man-made classic tracks in the south woods area, but same problems apply.

Jester Park Golf Course was groomed for skating last Thursday. Golf course is great and campground areas are okay. Lots of sticks and leaves on one section. North loop is not good. Trails are well-used at this point and were good skiing, but B ski grade.
