Notes

Trails are on the golf course. Some nice hills but most of the course is pretty exposed. There is one back leg that is quite shaded and seems to hold snow long after the rest of the course loses it. Rentals at the chalet.

Como was surprisingly good - much better than I expected! The trail had been rolled and groomed, but at noon the grooming was mostly gone (broken up) but the deck was still solid enough to skate. There were also some sections that had been drifted over with our high winds. Classic tracks had not been set, but there were a number of skiers making their own. Coverage was adequate by avoiding some visible low spots (top of hill before steep descent is about the worst) so I don't believe my skis (B skis just to be safe) bottomed out. So great to ski in the neighborhood again!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Roll groomed today snow was fluffy and inconsistent. Overall, a few inches we received will help. No classic track was set. Get out there and pack it in. Cheers.

Some grass poking out but for the most part had good snow coverage. A good number of classic skiiers out. Enough so that even though it was not groomed, could still follow the trail.

Soft and slow, but all natural snow! A thin deck with the occasional click-clack of ski tips on the cart path, but overall good coverage. Fine work by the groomer making the best with what we have. Get it while you can.

Nice fat corduroy loop around the course, with just a few sticks and leaves. Not tracked for classic. Snow is fluffy and fresh. Thank you St Paul for grooming! Fun to be out.
