Notes

Some of the best trails in southern Minnesota. Tucked in the valley behind the school, the trails run around the northern slopes of the valley making them quite challenging and also well protected from the sun. Some lighted sections, and snowmaking operations.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Our 2K multi loop trail is skiing very good. Skate lanes are firm with cushion on top and the classic track is deep and firm.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
A bit more trail is now open after additional snowmaking (another loop toward the woods), which added to the interesting ways in which you can meander through the man-made course at present. Conditions were pretty good and consistent throughout, with a fairly fast skate deck (save a bit slower on the newer made snow), and some patches or thinner spots filled in. Folks were skiing pretty steadily throughout the late morning, but it never felt crowded. Great location, all around, and a big thanks to the groomers and snowmakers!

Our 1.5km man-made loop survived the warm spell and rain. It averages 8"+ and you can run good skis. We are also resetting track but it's klister conditions. The snowmaking group added a 300m section and touched up some areas today. Skiing should be great this weekend.

The 1.5km man made loop is surprisingly good - especially considering several days of rain last weekend. Thank you groomers for working your magic!

First time on these trails, and was pleasantly surprised. While thin in a few spots, there was sufficient coverage throughout their 1.5K loops, with a mixture of sugary, slightly icy, and just right skate deck. Folks in the classic tracks seemed to be enjoying themselves and making great progress, as well. Super easy to hit the trails quickly, and all told a lot of fun - we will be back!

We were able to bring back to life our 1.5K manmade loop and were able to bring up some fresh white snow. Set a classic track the whole way around with fairly good results!

The man made snow loops survived the heatwave! And the rain! There was only one spot starting to show through, and it's a little icy.

[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
St Mary's ski trails have all been rolled. Our manmade loop is very good you can use your good skis. The rest of the system is thin but skiable; you may encounter a rock or twigs therefore rock skis are recommended and of course a little caution.
