Grooming [ Trails: Closed, ]

We've received a small amount of snow over the week. About 2 inches on Sunday and another inch Wednesday. Currently, there is a base of about an inch. All trails have been rolled, though not enough snow to groom. Trails remain closed to skiing and snowshoeing. Fat Tire Biking is open. The chalet is open on a limited schedule: Saturday's and Sunday's from 8am-4pm. Pass envelopes are available at the kiosk off the main parking lot for outside chalet hours.

We have a dusting over the ground to make it pretty, but not even as deep as the sole of my shoes. We are closed to skiing, but we are open to fat tire biking. Chalet will be open 8-4 Saturdays and Sundays for fat tire biking. Pay at chalet when open, or in parking lot when chalet is closed.

The Wausau Area received about 4 inches of snow on Thursday (Wednesday we were at bare ground). At Nine Mile, we have rolled some of the ski trails. Snowshoe and bike trails will not be groomed. Our hope is to preserve the snow we have ahead of any warmer weather. All trails remain closed due to low snow.
