Great snow conditions combined with great grooming made for a great day! Warmer temperatures in the 20s helped also. Classic skied Sunset, Wolf Tracks and Haughten in the morning. Skied Blueberry and Popple flats in the afternoon. All tracks were firm and deep set. Wonderful day to be skiing!

A great morning grooming with Wide Track and Crasher! The daily snows the last days have been great and we have been grooming 50-92 km every day, great coverage, firm tracks and Pisten Bully groomed. The Ski Shop has made the 30% off all soft goods, including, Clothing, hats, gloves, wax, ski boots and poles (swix quantum 1 poles $150 for example). Skis are on sale also at 20% to 40%. Some rental skis, boots, poles and snowshoes are on sale until March 16th. Grooming plans tomorrow: Crasher is headed out with his Pisten Bully to groom Tammarack 2 track to Jason Park. Then Ridge runner for classic and skate, then the Highlands and others as needed.

Snow Cross and Crasher groomed most of the combi trails and PB groomed Tammarack 2 track and Ridge Runner with the PB. Ridge Runner is groomed for classic and skate, we will leave it for a while, looking for feedback from the skiers. We had the entire team of 8 groomers come in for a formal Foundation meeting and coffee and a group video and picture on snow. Grooming plans: Friday we plan to regroom some classic only and do touch up grooming as needed with Pisten Bully 1 or 2. This is a picture of our dedicated grooming team, they all are planning on working next year for the Foundation. I feel so blessed working with this dedicated crew!

The 4 inches of snow yesterday groomed up perfectly this morning. Both Pisten Bullies groomed all the combi trails and ridge runner is classic with the the Pisten Bully. The classic only trails groomed up well as well with 2 single track groomers double teaming them on the lighter equipment. The trails are in midwinter condition. Skiing does not get any better than this.

Two inches of fresh snow again overnight! 85 k of trails groomed and track set. Pig Heart powertilled and set track on the "old ABR" 30 km with the Pisten Bully early this morning and Wide Track took care of single tracks with the skidoo expedition se and a small ginzu track setter. Snow Cross hooked the number 4 Bear Cat to the 9 foot Ginzu and groomed 1/2 of Tammarack and all of the Highlands and Ridge runner. The snow groomed up well, it was slow going for skate skiers with the cold dry snow but rock hard classic tracks were great skiing. Grooming plans: The smaller Pisten Bully is headed out early morning for touch up grooming.

The snow yesterday was welcome, Snow Cross and I groomed 55 km of combi trails this morning. Tracks were looking great so we just firmed and smoothed out skate lanes. Trails are skiing very well. Grooming plans: We are heading back out in the morning to do the same.

We woke up to 2 inches of snow. We had 4 groomers and groomed 88 km of trails including all skate lanes and new classic tracks. It was a great dense snow and was helpful in building the base. BTW Snowfall in Ironwood is at 75.4 inches this season, down from our average but plenty to ski on! Skiing was excellent today! Groomers plan to be back out in the early morning. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today and he said we will have 6 weeks more weeks of winter... or more. It also means we have to put our ski shop sale in place 20% off everything including ABR logo clothing, wax, gloves, hats jackets, skis boots etc.

Classic skied Blueberry bluff and Hautegen Heights. Great snow, plentiful snow, excellent grooming, solid tracks, firm deck. Was getting a litttle sticky in early afternoon as temps hit 40 degrees. But overall a great day.

Great surprise 3-4 inches of lake effect snow overnight. We took both Pisten Bullies out and a single track groomer and groomed 87 km of trails this morning. At 20 degrees they set well and with sun they skied very nicely. I don't think conditions could get much better. We plan to regroom again in the morning.
