I skate skied all the main loops, trails were groomed flat and had fresh corduroy at 9 AM. I classic skied yesterday and it was also wonderful. I encountered one root and a 1/2 eaten snowshoe hare I had to ski around.

Great skiing, we groomed up about 30km and set some new tracks. The classic only trails are skiing pretty well but some areas such as wolf tracks and the cedar swamp of hemlock are still thin. Grooming plans: Groomers plan to head out at 6 AM Saturday morning to groom the majority of the wide trails.
Scheduling: Don't miss the Ribbon cutting Saturday at noon at the trailhead by the ABR Trails Foundation, dedicating the Tamarack 2 Track to Jessie Diggins. All of the Foundation Board will be there to chat with.

We had 5 groomers out this morning from 6;00-9;30 grooming. The new snow groomed up well, we set new tracks and groomed about 70 km of trails. Cold today but many well dressed skiers and happy with conditions. Grooming plans: Friday morning we plan to retrack sunset, the highlands and more as needed and touch up skate lane grooming as needed.

We have had a good steady 1-2 inches every few days. We had a thaw sunday, great to freeze the base. Daily grooming continues. We set tracks every few days. The new snow really improved conditions today. Grooming plans: We have a full groom crew scheduled for early morning. Pig heart, Wide track, Snow cross, and partner are heading out and will be grooming from 6 am - 12 noon tomorrow.

Good snow coverage. Sticky due to 38 degree temps. Still lovely and a fun atmosphere with all of the teams training. Easy to find quiet trails. Especially enjoyed snow shoeing in the afternoons when it got too sticky for me. So glad we drove the 4.5 hours up here from Twin Cities for weekend!

Great conditions. Some thin spots, but overall good coverage. Snow got sticky in early afternoon from the warm conditions.

We had a great day of skiing today, lots of happy skiers. The conditions today were better than any day last season. We groomed 56 km today and reset tracks on about 28km. With the warm temps the steeper hills are getting snow plowed to expose dirt so we are suggesting to stick to the main trail system for cleaner snow. The classic only trails are getting worn, we have not reset tracks in 3 days. Grooming plans are to concentrate on the main trails in the early morning, River and all the side loops, blueberry to cold feet feet and meadow ridge, deer trail and cherry, we may venture out on jack pine/white pine. We plan to reset Tamarack 2 track in the early morning. The dog friendly trails are skiing well and are not being used much, they were also all groomed this morning.
