The course is ready for season opener race today. All trails except Papa bear have been tiller groomed and tracked. If you're stuck where there is no snow, it's definitely worth the drive from Madison or Milwaukee. Conditions are very good, get out and ski.

Great classic skiing today after the first grooming by the Husky! Tracks were clean, firm, and fast. Swix Blue Extra provided good kick. And the scenery was beautiful, too!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
First day out today after groomers rolled about 9 km of trails. Decent conditions, and although I used rock skis, I didn't hit anything. A few avoidable wet spots.
