Everything groomed up and firmed up nicely after Friday's storm. Perfect temps and perfect skiing, and holding up just fine with a lot of use. Good to see and chat with so many people who came up from areas that have lost too much snow - we're glad you're here! We're fortunate to still have a 2-foot base at Swedetown.

Skied in a major storm with 15-40 mph winds and snow all day. Temp was ok at 2F5 but nasty if you were in the wind. A lot of trails were groomed and track early morning. We skied down to Mama Bear and Baby Bear and our tracks were full of snow on return trip. We skied Ed's trail- always a hoot, very slow with 4 inches of snow. We then switched to wilderness trails which were also groomed but not as much snow on them. Always fun skiing in a snow globe.

All trails dragged this morning to smooth out the skate deck. Tracks are still good, but may be covered in a little powder. Everything should set up nicely. Enjoy!

We had some equipment issues this morning so we got out later than normal. The skate deck was dragged except for MUT, Relentless, and the Bear loops. Expect powder in the tracks. Happy Skiing!

Whole system was dragged today, and the skate deck turned out great! Should make for some good skiing today! The classic tracks on all trails throughout the system are still in pretty good condition, with a light dusting of snow in them from last night. Enjoy your ski!

Brrrr! Cold day today! Apologies to early bird skiers - we had a few issues this morning with the grooming machine and were not able to get going until 9:30. All trails have been freshly groomed with the Husky Grooming machine, other than the Bear loops and Birch. Those should still have some intact tracks under the about 2 inches of fresh snow we got last night, with the exception of the windblown areas on those trails.

So much snow! Two inches of very dry powder over a deep base made for excellent to extremely excellent skating conditions.

Skied before they could finish grooming whole system - but skate deck under the new snow was fine. Friends classic skiing also had good fun/conditions. Not quite back to pre-Christmas but getting there.
