All trails were groomed this morning after 4" of new snow overnight. Skate deck was soft. Striding was great with solid track walls. Temps got to 30° . Lots of folks out. It was reported from Madison skiers that Skinny Ski is the go to site to chase where the snow is for a long weekend.

Never skied here before, what a great place! Lots of climbs and good downhills. Open hardwood forest was great for views. Beautiful warming house. Trails are marked very well with excellent maps. Glad I checked it out. They were grooming as I was skiing so lots of virgin corduroy for me.

Excellent! Fresh PistenBully grooming. Rumor has it that the trails were raked by hand. They were largely debris free, firm, and fast. The PB grooming provided very firm pole plants for the classic tracks. Wow! Nice skiing!

Beautiful conditions today. First half of Wolverine trail had been groomed very recently. Tracks were a bit rougher on the back half but still in good shape with very little debris. First time skiing there and it appears that dogs are welcome. Watch out for the poopers.

Wolverine was mostly good for classic Thursday afternoon. There were several pretty soft spots with all the recent snow, and the track was broken in a few places.
