Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The skate lanes were in great shape this morning with only a few thin spots. The thin spots will likely get bigger throughout the day, but skiing should be good for a while yet. Classic tracks were not reset this morning, but still present. Fun for sure!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
A skiff of snow this morning made the classic trails very nice. The skate deck looked a little choppy from the melting conditions. I had the whole trail to myself... pretty sweet! When I left big flakes were coming down but that might have changed to rain.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Started classic skiing around 10am. Tracks were very good, I had great glide. The deck looked a little soft but folks were still skate skiing. We have the best snow around here for spring conditions. I'll be back tomorrow early.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
All trails groomed and track set this morning except cliff hanger and pond loop. We received 12" snow the last 24 hours so the trails may be soft for skating but classic should be nice. Spring Skiing! Sunny skies.

Wolverine novice loop regroomed midmorning today. Much firmer and more manageable now. Groomer headed up the headwall to groom more trails. Temps were cold last night.

Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
They either forgot to roll or comb all of the trails before grooming or got 3 ft of snow overnight because the trails have not been this soft in at least 5 years. I skied the first half of the wolverine loop and the full cliffs trail skate. When that wasn't working, I skied a bit more of the wolverine loop at the start class but only in the parts where other people have gone and started packing it down. Not worth skiing today unless you want to snowshoe on your skis. Wait till they groom at least once more.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
We groomed and track set the novice and wolverine loop, cliffs trail, stairway to heaven and pit run as far as the 3 sisters cut across. Expect soft conditions today but it should firm up overnight and be nice tomorrow. Come and enjoy spring skiing while it lasts.
