The Pisten Bully made its debut this morning tackling the 24" of fresh snow from the past couple of days. Excellent conditions on the skate deck and tracks set. Chalet warm and toasty with covid precautions. Sun is out with low wind. It doesn't get better than this!

Another 7" of snow fell overnight totaling over 15". Groomers were out this morning during snow falling which continued into late afternoon. 7" of hard base with more fluffy snow on top. Grooming plans: Groomers will be out tomorrow morning to pack down the trails and set tracks. Skate deck has been soft. Looking to be a good day of skiing and getting ready for the SISU race.

Beautiful day at Wolverine today! We classic skied the Powderhorn Loop and Cliffs Trail, all freshly groomed with a firm skate deck and deep classic tracks. The pond loop up by Powderhorn Mountain was open. Thanks to groomers for a lovely ski!

Really nice skiing at Wolverine today. Despite a brisk wind and temps around 9F, the bright sun made a lovely day for skiing. Recent grooming made excellent classic conditions. Skating looked decent also, though probably a bit slow. The pond loop is closed, but otherwise all sections of the trail are open. The last several days have added close to 10 inches of snow in this area.

Skate trails groomed and very good; a little soft in places due to fresh snow two days ago. Snow conditions looked great for classic skiers. Snow is falling and it finally feels like full winter here.

Excellent snow and grooming conditions. Was able to get a good workout while enjoying the woods. Cliffs Trail was particularly a highlight for me.

Wolverine ski trails are fully tracked and skate lane groomed. Pond loop closed. Deep solid tracks. Soft conditions prevail on the skate deck. Groomers shoveling the low areas the other day did the trick with the new 6" of new snow. Chalet open and warm. Best conditions of the season!

First, kudos to the grooming crew for prepping such nice trails, finally with classic tracks. Really nice. But what a sad state of the affairs when three days after there's finally enough base to set tracks, there's already a thaw... long story short, the base was getting thinner at spots, and skating was sluggish. Kind of takes the fun away, but it's good workout. Anyway, Merry Christmas, and please ask Santa for more snow.

Classic skied Wolverine loop and Cliffs/Cliffhanger at sunset. Classic tracks have been set on ~95% of these loops and were in good shape. Groomers shoveled snow onto thin spots that I had seen yesterday. Still a couple soft spots with yesterday's new snow settling in and occasional spots in the tracks with debris, but the trails were in awesome shape. The most cautious still might want B skis, but I'd have no problem using my best skis out there. Thanks groomers!
