Excellent conditions skiing. Lots of snow, great coverage, perfect grooming. Just perfect for skating and the classic tracks looked good as well. Skied the entire system and thought it was perfect. Thank you groomers for your excellent work!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers had 3" of new snow from yesterday to track and set skate lanes today. Grooming daily to continue packing the base. Groomers plan to be out early tomorrow as there will be a Womens' Ski Lesson starting at 9:30-11:30. There is still room to join the fun. Classic and skating. Certified instructors.

Excellent coverage at Wolverine. Goods skis are definitely ok. Full coverage, though a little thin/windblown around the pond on the Powderhorn loop. Very soft, but the groomers were making another pass as I was out skiing. Hopefully will firm up with some more grooming days.

Observation

First big lake effect snow falling this weekend for the upcoming season. Eight plus inches of wet heavy snow on the ground. Hopeful for more snow and cooler temps to hold a good base. Stay tuned.
