5 to 8 inches new powder snow; average packed base 4"; 6k loop, bucks run, and 3k classic now roll packed, combed and track set; eagles run, rabbits trail, and ridge run now roll packed; -2*F upon completing grooming during the night; base now firm. What an experience to be out at night with snow falling and grooming a very good amount of fresh snow. We are looking like a winter wonderland now and grooming of some sections of trails will continue today. Bring your good skis.

18* above; snow is a falling; 4" new powder snow ; 3k classic trail now roll packed; packed base average from 2 to 4 inches. Balance of trails covered with minimum of 4" of new snow. WOW! We headed out to pack some fresh snow on the 3k with new snow falling at a good rate. Grooming plans: Grooming will continue on tonight, consisting of roll packing and tidd tech combing and track setting. Stay tuned!

-13*f below starting temp; -5* F below finishing; 6k loop; bucks run; and majority of Rabbits trail roll packed new 2" fluff snow over a frozen granular base with just a few short areas of icy base where south exposure. Average base depth of 1 ½". Balance of trail system has an average 2" fluffy snow covering frozen granular base. B skis option for skating over new pack or skiing in 2" of powder snow on base. No track sets at this time. Blue skies, no wind, below zero temps. Last 5 days has been a wide spread of temps; 40* on Saturday, Light rain showers on Sunday and temps hovering around 34* and cloudy, then a couple of days of snow showers now and then giving us 2" of new snow; then woke up this morning to -23*F. We are still skate skiing over the packed base.

5 F above to 9F at finish; average base 1 ½"; 1" new snow fluff on recently groomed trails; 5" snow cover accumulated on previously ungroomed trails; some twigs and grasses show here and there; 20K trail system now roll packed including roller coaster hills of Eagles Run; 3k roll packed 11/29/24 has 1" fluffy snow cover; no track sets at this time. Good skating on the packed base. Started out with cloudy skies this morning and ended up in bright blue skies and sunshine. Very surprised to find not much debris such as twigs and leaves from yesterday's gale force winds. The hills of Eagles and Wolf Run looked great with all the snow covering the trails. Skating over the pack should be a fun option especially for the early season.

6* F above; cloudy skies; 1" new snow thru out the day yesterday; 3k trail now roll packed, 4" of fresh snow on trail. average 1 1/2" pack base; balance of roll packed trails groomed Tuesday have 1" of fresh powder to ski on. Base very firm. Bring your B skis. No track sets at this time. After enjoying a great Thanksgiving meal and watching snow flurries fall thru out the day we headed out this morning to do our first grooming of the 3k trail thru the woods. Could not set track sets but skating over the surface is an option. Very pretty out there!

Skied about 8k on a couple inches of fluff on a 1" rolled base. Beautiful landscape with a variety of trails. Something for everyone!

Roll packed 3" of fresh snow from Sunday night and Monday morning today on some of our trail system. Our average base is 1" with grasses sticking out of trail surface here and there. No track sets at this time. Current temp is 19*F above with cloudy sky. Fresh snow still hanging on trees along the way. Got out the roll packers today and packed the 6K loop of black bear, brush cat and deer view. Then we made an alternate route out to flats of Eagles Run which will take you to Rabbits Trail, Hawks Trail and a return on either Ridge Run (hills) or Deer View (flat). Skating over trails packed today is possible with your B skis. Happy Thanksgiving.

Temp L21 H28, cloudy and no wind in the woods. I took out my rock skis but mostly I ran/hiked 1/2 of the Rainbow Resort trails (23km) mid-morning. Some spots are good for rock skis, but I'll wait for more snow to ski yet. Grounds are very solid. But grounds need a very good base for grooming and setting nice tracks.

26* f above; cloudy skies; light snow showers; up to 2" accumulation of new snow covering trails. We just went out to check some trails to see what was happening. Found the new white snow covering the trails a very welcome sight. With the rain we had yesterday we do have a few puddles here and there but overall very nice. With colder temps in the forecast it will really help freeze up the ground.

All xc ski trails are currently closed for skiing. Temp 40H, 31L, partially sunny and cloudy, breezy out open at North Jct and South Jct, very little wind in the woods. Trails have been prepared for snow, grooming, and winter opener.
