Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The full man made loop is open again. The snow that was made has been leveled and groomed. The trail is now full width through out. The new areas range from great to a little chunky. It should improve as the day goes on with skier traffic. The rest of the man made loop was groomed and is in great condition for skating and classic skiing. The snow makers did an awesome job in spite of the frigid temperatures. The lapham loppet is this Saturday and the park will be very busy. So plan your ski accordingly.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Snowmaking ran overnight into the morning to widen and eliminate some sugar snow on the woods loop. Closure starts at the dark cutoff between south field entrance/exit to just past high point. There is also new snow on the top right side of magic carpet so ski with caution on left side. We hope to have everything leveled and groomed by Wednesday morning. Watch for next grooming report to verify when everything will be open.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night grooming the lower man made trails. The skate deck was tilled and new classic tracks were set. None of the in the woods trails were groomed as snow making had started. Expect those trails to be closed until Wednesday to allow us to widen and freshen up the trail from the bottom of two tier to about halfway down magic carpet.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Hard packed base with a bit of loose snow on the surface where the ginzu had been. Best on the Start hill and uphill Woods segments. Worst on the downhills. West-northwest wind not really much of a problem. Tracks are frozen solid ice.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
The skate deck of the snowmaking loop was scratched up with the ginzu early this morning. The tracks were left as is and are full depth and looked in good condition. grooming plans: There are plans to make some additional snow in the woods starting tonight and going into tomorrow. There will likely be a section of the trail closed tomorrow to allow us to make that snow and get it spread out for Wednesday. Please use caution and give room to the snowmaking and grooming equipment.

Great coverage throughout the man-made loops. Fast and firm conditions with good control - surprisingly fast even with intermittent mist. Lots of skiers of all ages out this morning. Hats off to the groomers for some truly enjoyable skiing!

The Piston Bully was out grooming at night. The skate deck was tilled and is in excellent condition. The little bit of new snow we have had has improved the trail. The classic tracks were left as is and are in great shape. Mark's park , Beattle's loop and Jerry's half acre were groomed as well.

Mark spread and groomed the playground area Friday and is ready for fun! I groom and set new tracks over the entire manmade trails. Skate deck is excellent and tracks are full depth all around. Trailend still needs new snow spread so that short segment is still closed. Enjoy a great weekend of skiing.

Natural snow mixed with the fresh groomed snow made for a soft, easy skiing surface for skating. Newly set tracks received a thin layer of new snow, providing good kick. Great skiing for all abilities, as evidenced by the large number of skiers on the trails.
