Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
New snow was leveled and tilled everywhere except tailend segment. Skate deck has been tilled and new full depth tracks have been set everywhere. Might have a few patches of corn type snow where new snow was leveled. Enjoy!

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Overnight and morning snowmaking on the trails made a huge amount of snow. Open segments were not groomed last night but are still in very good condition, with a firm skate deck and solid tracks on the lower trails and a more sugary surface on the Woods trails, especially the Green Cutoff. Most pleasant surprise was the Magic Carpet, which has a nice layer of loose snow. Watch for one icy spot on the climb up Summerstage Hill.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
Snowmaking has been going all night. We will have sections of the manmade loops closed Thursday and most likely Thursday night. The closed sections will be the starting hill up to summer stage, tailend, and the north field from northeast corner to past rental access. You will be able to ski straight out from parking lot, up summer stage, around the woods loop, down magic carpet, turn around at the corner, then back towards summer stage. Tracks should be full depth in most all areas. Thanks for your patience while we freshen up our trails.

Excellent conditions for skate and stride. A shallow layer of loose snow on a firm, flat base made for easy skating. New tracks are firm and fast. Some segments where new snow was made and groomed are a little chunky, but it is great to see the snowmaking team taking advantage of the cool, calm weather to reinforce the snow coverage.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The Piston Bully was out at night pushing out the snow that was made. The trail is now wider and flatter along the pond and where the finish line is. The rest of the man made trail was groomed as well. The skate deck is in great condition firm with a nice layer of soft snow on top. New classic tracks were set throughout and are in great shape. They are full depth and firm. The man made loop is setup for the Wednesday night races so the classic tracks have been set differently and will be back to normal on Friday.

[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Generally very good conditions for skate and stride. Some trail segments closed or impacted by ongoing snowmaking operations. Appears to have been groomed with the ginzu, which left a shallow layer of loose snow on a solid base. Tracks were solid.

Multiple loops were open, longest is about 1.1 miles and is all lit for night skiing. Hardpack and well groomed for both skate and classic. Good skiing!

Afternoon

The skate deck was hardpacked and uneven which made some difficulty with edging. It appeared to not have been groomed recently.

Manmade Loops were surprisingly good Monday afternoon considering no grooming Sunday night. Very skiable with the expected amount of dirty snow in a few places. A little sugary in places, a little firm in others but holding up well. Tracks were decent as well. Good skis ok if careful.

Got out a little before 11am. Park had a lot of people getting in laps today, from the experienced to beginners. Skate deck had fresh man made snow and was fast despite all of the traffic beating up the deck and single digit Temps. The area in the tree section was a little more sugary, but still great skiing today. Looks like they need directional signage, saw several people going against flow of traffic in areas.
