Groomed everything fresh again this morning. We received about an inch of snow yesterday and it mixed in very well with the firm base.

Enjoyed our last morning at 6:45 for a beautiful beaver dam, upper ridge and moose pasture ski. Also skied Saturday night at sunset. Amazing conditions. Fantastic grooming. A lot of snow up there to be skied.

Fabulous classic ski from Bearskin resort on the popular and new lace lake expanded trail. Skiing from the lodge around popular, and lace lake, and back was 9.5 miles. Excellent, cold conditions on fresh groomed snow. My new Fischer twin skins were decent.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We've received about 3.5" of snow last night and this morning, and it's still coming down. It's a heavy, wet snow. We groomed every trail except Red Pines, which by then we had to get off the trails due to the warming temps. Everything groomed up really nice. Grooming plans: We will groom everything again tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on the outside temperatures.

Fantastic conditions! Warming temps with 1/2 inch of fresh snow this early morning. Base is rock-solid, should hold up fine.

Conditions couldn't be much better on the Central Gunflint. There's plenty of snow, the deck is firm, and the classic tracks are deep and solid. Now that the weather is warming up, the snow is speeding up.

We re-groomed the trails on the north side of Flour last night: Logging Camp, Red Pines, Cross Fox, Deer Mouse, Wolf Point, and Moose Ridge. We freshened up the lake crossings again this morning (North-South link from GEL to Summer Home Road) as well as the Skijoring Trail. Everything continues to be in great shape! Photo is of the 3km Skijoring Loop.
