Observation
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We received about an inch of new snow yesterday. The grooming crew discussed going out and scratching up the skate lane but we decided that it was probably best left as is. The classic track is still decent from the last grooming. The skate deck doesn't have enough depth to renovate the snow, we'd just bring up dirt. Let's cross our fingers for more snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed all trails, classic and skate. We received about 3" of new powder yesterday. Classic was skiing pretty good last week and it should be better now. I would still not use good skis as there is still not a lot of snow. Thunder, East loop, Rajala and Sunset have the best conditions. Long lake and Atomic have areas where rocks might bite you.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
We received 3-4" of new snow last night so were able to get out for a first grooming. All trails were packed and tracked. Classic track is shallow and bottoms out in areas so I would recommend waxless skis for classic. Skate lane will be uneven and there's little base so rock skis until we get more snow. This is a low bar, but conditions are better than any time last year.

Trails have been cleared and mowed. Good time to hike or bike trails, colors are starting to change.
