Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Groomed Pipeline Loop, Meadow Loops, and Vahtera Loops today. Meadow Loops are in excellent condition groomed for skate and classic; firm skate deck and deep tracks. Pipeline Loop is in "fair to good" condition groomed for skate; mostly firm skate deck. The Dec 24th snowfall brought down lots of branches and affected pipeline heavily. Corderoy is near excellent but too much debris in the forested/pine sections despite extensive cleanup, B skis recommended. Vahtera is in fair condition groomed for classic; the track setter broke off near the very end so the exit is a little squirrelly from equipment shuffling around the preexisting track. Expect soft pole plants on Vahtera for a couple days.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Today the volunteer groomer team rolled and combed the meadow and pipeline trails (no classic track). There is still some small storm debris on the trails, so pitch in if you can. Red granite is hikers/snowshoers only at this time due to storm debris. We will finish the rest of the trail system soon (Vahterra and Takesson).

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
The Pipeline and Vahtera Loops have solid bases, nice deep classic tracks and a smooth skate lane. The light dusting of snow early this morning made for a great ski.

Rolled the entire trail system today in prep for more snowfall, nothing combed yet. Good base established on the Meadow Loops and Pipeline West. Still need additional snow for remaining trails. Grooming Plan: any grooming this week will occur after the forecasted snow storm passes through.
