Classic skied from Cascade Lodge up segments of Pioneer Loop to Lookout Mountain. Tracks were in good condition, had a few bare spots near stones/roots, but definitely fun. Thanks to Norpine Trail Association for the grooming!

Skied the first section of Deeryard, lovely conditions, wish I had more time to ski the full loop. Well set tracks, firm pole plants, beautiful time in the forest.

Pioneer Loop, Lookout Mountain, and all Deeryard trails (inc Short Loop + Firetower) groomed Saturday morning. Great conditions throughout! West End trails (inc Massie, Hall, and Ski Hill Rd Connector) will have benefited from the extra snow. West End trails were groomed Friday.

From Cascade lodge trailhead I skied up west Pioneer, over to Deeryard, around Deeryard to the fire tower, then up and down fire tower trail and back via the short loop. It was nice to see the short loop open and groomed again. Back via the connector and down east Pioneer. Light snow was falling all afternoon putting some light fluff in the tracks and great kick and glide. But the light snow covered up some of the sticks and dirt at the lower elevations, so B skis would be best. Short Loop is also a bit rough and thin but it sure is nice to have it open again and it is quite a challenging run. The Deeryard loop and Fire Tower trail were immaculate. Great day on the trails.

Most of the trail you could use your good skis on, but I started at Cascade Lodge and the first little section had more dirt and sticks showing. I followed the groomer so I was the first one on the trail. Amazing conditions, beautiful snow and incredible trails! I am excited to take my women's group trip here this weekend!

I classic skied starting from the Cascade Lodge trailhead up West Pioneer, over to and around Deeryard loop, then back to Pioneer and down East Pioneer. Snow on Pioneer is thinner with some dirt and stubble. B skis needed here. Tracks were well formed and firm. Deeryard coverage levels were much better and good skis could be used. Tracks were solid and very skiable. The connector between Deeryard and Pioneer was softer with some drifting and a soft and undulating deck. Caution needed here, but overall skiing was great and fun in more moderate temperatures.

Norpine East trails groomed this evening. This includes: Deeryard Main Loop, Fire Tower, Pioneer Loop, Lookout Mountain, Ridge Run, and the connecting trail between Pioneer and Deeryard. Short Loop (at Deeryard) hasn't been opened up for the season yet, however. Conditions are great!
