Hats off to the groomers! Yes, it was misting and the track was soft -- but we had a track, and not just the hamster wheel loop! Tomorrow may be a different day but celebrate what we have and what will be. Thanks to everyone that made this happen.

Man made snow, three loops totaling 2.5km. Skied around 2:30 pm. Considering what mother nature is providing, both classic and skate lanes are in good condition. Thanks Ramsey County.

Thanks to a dedicated snow making and grooming staff the "Shoe" is now open. That brings us to around 2.5k.

Great morning at BC! The addition of the Prairie loop opens things up. Snow was great at 6am, super fast and well groomed. My kick was suffering on the hills, but that is as much user error as it is conditions.

The Prairie Loop and Prairie pass are now open. We are working on an addition section of trail with the remaining piles. Get out and enjoy the nice weather and snow.

Kudos to the groomers at BC West! The outer loop is 1.1 K, and with some creative alternating between the inner and outer loop, one can create a 1.6 K loop. It was a beautiful morning, and the tracks were solid.

The MEC meet on Thursday, December 14th, is cancelled. Open practice for high school still remains from 3-6pm.

Good news we had a couple good day and nights of snow making. We have opened an additional section of trail and are working on getting the next section open soon. Enjoy.

Battle Creek continues with its 0.6km loop plus long and wide flat practice area. It's fast and in fine condition, save for some heavy sugar on the one uphill. Crowds were robust but not problematic. It's unclear how close they are to extending the length of the loop.

Happy we tried Battle Creek, it's a good little loop for the early season. Looked like the snow machines were hard at work on the east trails. Little mushy on the hills, but not a bad time by any means.
