Wirth manmade snow trails has expanded to twin lakes and the upper stadium. Fabulous conditions. It seems they have spread some newer manmade snow on the main trails to freshen them up. So fun on fresh artificial snow in twin lakes. I had the old klister or power grip on and it was just fine. Seeing the sun the morning was a refreshing sight.

It was nice getting back to one of my favorite Theo Loops--Twin Lakes! The classic tracks were in really good shape, and so was the skate deck. The bright sunshine made for a warmer afternoon!

Excellent conditions. Everything was clean and running smoothly. Snow a bit squeaky and at first I wished I topped up my wax, but after a few minutes I didn't notice anymore. It was great to finally get on twin lake segment!

Twin Lakes trail is now open! We have around 5k of snowmaking trails open, as well as instructional areas in lower and upper stadiums. Snowmaking is underway on Trail 18, Inner Meadow, and North Finger.

Great ski at noon today! It was probably the least amount of skiers I've seen this season at Wirth. The classic tracks were in good shape as well as the skate deck.

Conditions were decent but not great this morning. A little dirty where work vehicles cross ski trails, and some debris in places. The guns were blowing lots of snow and the groomers were getting ready to start moving it around. Big weekend of racing ahead here.

Great conditions! The snow is holding up and the grooming team has been top notch. Great skiing - little to no ice and the downhills were nice (skipped La Squadra).

Given this year, the machine-made loops at Wirth were excellent! The hills became a little sugary late into the day, but the classic tracks were solid. The trails were filled with MYSL skiers from 3-5pm and kudos to nearly everyone who gave grace and space and smiles to the future of our sport as they passed by.

Skated the open trails this afternoon. Nice conditions. A few icy spots where the sugary snow has been pushed around on a few descents. Classic tracks looked good. Not much debris anywhere.

Great skiing at Wirth today! Tracks were shallow in spots but good overall. Sugar on the uphills, downhills were great - not so lightning fast. The parking lot was full but there was plenty of room on the trails. Snowmaking was active on Twin Lakes section. The sun was wonderful and very little wind so it felt warmer than the temps said. Don't let the temps scare you!
