The Valley 2.5 k loop is in good condition. A few darker patches from the warm days last weekend, but still good firm deck and reasonably fast tracks.

Skied classic on the man-made snow at Elm at daybreak and it was freshly groomed and conditions were great. Nice to to ski in the track before it starts to get icier later in the day. The best news is that the bagel is now open (southern loop in contrast to the northern donut). The switchback option at the wall is still waiting to open though.

Elm had the snow guns running this morning but mostly on the tubing hill so no additional trail length available. They did have one gun on the south donut. However with the windy conditions the snow had deposited over much of the existing trail making for very slow skiing. In a few places the drifting had even cover sections of the classical track.

Pleasantly surprised with the conditions this morning before daybreak, as the skate deck was in better shape than expected, and the overnight grooming did wonders to improve otherwise icy conditions. The recent warmup meant that some curves and areas where the groomed didn't hit were icy, while the steepest sections of hills were getting a bit soft. The classic tracks were generally quite icy, and hard to get a grip on the steepest uphills with my skins. At 7am the northern/mud lake uphill was still in pretty good shape, both on the skate deck and in the tracks. Much appreciation to the three Rivers grooming team!

Very good conditions both skate and classic, but the wind had blown in some dust from the fields, so slow spots, but no leaves! The south donut is not yet open, nor the cutoff, but hopefully soon. Thanks groomers!

2k of trail is open, deck is firm, classic tracks solid. Hill on south loop was getting a little chopped up but still easy to ski up. Classic tracks were a little slick by 6pm, but grip tape was working well.

Drive by report. No guns going on the upper part and mostly groomed/flattened but no classic track set. Practice area a little rough. Snow guns going on lower donut but not groomed there yet.
