Absolutely amazing conditions today. Trails were tilled and tracked last night and they were superb today. Skate deck was level and rocket fast and tracks were rock solid. Can't believe how good the trails are holding up with all of the warm weather we've had this year. Thanks to the groomers for their amazing work!

Recent new snow tilled in with old icy snow for "hero snow" skating. All trails tilled and tracked with some drifting in the TR.

An inch of fresh snow on old classic tracks made for very nice striding. Tracks on the Tolkien trails we a little melted-out and worn, but still ok. Skate deck regroomed last night with fresh snow on top...Very nice.

Trails were "solid," not exactly icy but the result of multiple freeze-thaw cycles and daily tilling/grooming. I classic skied in the morning and tracks were deep and in pretty good shape. Skin skis worked well on all but the steeper climbs. Skated in the afternoon and the skate lanes had a thin refreshed layer with decent edging, but some of the competition trails, with steep descents and sharp turns at the bottom, were more exciting than I was in the mood for. Trails were quite durable in the warmth (mid 30s) and sunshine. Most skate lanes remained solid while south-faceing aspects had a thin layer of smush but were firm underneath. Plenty of snow should hold up for the few forecast warm days until cooler temps return.

Great skiing today at Tech trails. We received 6+ inches overnight, but the crew had everything groomed to near perfection today. A few soft pole plants here and there but otherwise perfect trails.
