Notes

The trail is located about two blocks West of Hwy 169 on Bass Lake Rd. Overall this is a nice little gem. The terrain is very gentle and seems an ideal place for a family with small children or beginner skiers.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
I had a good ski at Eagle yesterday with about 4" of new snow on the golf course. I made my own classic tracks. It felt really good to get on some natural snow for a change! When I went back this morning,
there was only about 2" left, but still decent coverage overall. This might be the last hurrah for the season!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied the Pike Lake Trail yesterday afternoon, evening and today. Trail is good for classic, plenty of snow. There is one spot at beginning of trail for about 3 yards where a little grass pokes through and you avoid with your left ski, otherwise it is great. The Eagle Lake trail is wide for skate and looks like it has been used a lot, so the classic is beat up on it at beginning. Love the Pike Lake trail because it goes through the woods by the lake.

Skied the Pike Lake trail this afternoon, breaking new trail after the Friday night snowfall. Drifting in the open areas. Plenty of snow, even in the woods. Cold and windy but blue skies and had the place to myself. Hope they groom soon.
