Beautiful trails through dense conifer forest. Very good conditions and mostly full snow coverage; groomed last weekend and it's still holding up well. Tracks are shallow, but solid; skate lanes looked to be in good shape. Skied the "B" (classic) Loop; if you ski this same trail, use the "S2" trail to bypass the "Roller Coaster Run" section; there are some parts there with thin snow coverage. Also, the "D" Loop had not been recently groomed.

Rapid River is in excellent condition. Skate lane was freshly groomed Sunday evening, and classic tracks looked deep and solid from previous grooming. While the trail was spared the epicenter of the winterstorm to its south, there is fresh snow, full coverage, and a deep base. Epic trail.

Sunny and warm. Snow has melted on some south facing hillsides. One area of dirt I had to walk around. Groomer was out when I was there but many of the trails haven't been groomed in several days. Plenty of snow, lots of animal tracks. Winter isn't over.

Fantastic trails, nice mix of both skating and classic trails. We arrived just as Glenn and Howie were finishing grooming! The grooming was greatly appreciated.
