Zillmer trails did not get much new snow-barely 2 inches. Skied brown trail which was pleasant. Several other skiers had gone on the other loop.

I would call conditions fair. I skied the yellow and brown. There were a number of icy spots and a bare spot at 4.5 miles on yellow. The best spots were the back sections of each. Not much glide, but enough snow that you didn't see many sticks or rocks. It's still better than not skiing in my opinion, and was worth the hour drive.

The trails were in good condition. The first 1/2 mile of the trail has the most ice and some small bare spots under the pines. The rest of the trails are well covered and groomed nicely (thanks Reagan from the DNR) with a few exceptions. There are a few rocks poking through on the east ridge (yellow trail) and there is a completely bare spot at about the 4 1/2 mile mark that can be gone around. There are also a couple of small icy spots under some pines. 99% of the trail has plenty of snow. Get out early on Saturday before it melts.

Got about 6 inches of snow yesterday, going out grooming now. We had about zero base left before yesterday.

Groomer brought up enough loose snow for good edging on for skating. Most of the ice patches you could avoid or pole through. The climbs were OK except the ice patch at the start. Did the red trail, and the red-yellow trail and the downhills were controllable. Fun skiing. Thanks to the groomer for making the trails skiable. Started at 9am with 36 degrees and good glide. By 11am it was 44 degrees and slower.
