Groomer brought up enough loose snow for good edging on for skating. Most of the ice patches you could avoid or pole through. The climbs were OK except the ice patch at the start. Did the red trail, and the red-yellow trail and the downhills were controllable. Fun skiing. Thanks to the groomer for making the trails skiable. Started at 9am with 36 degrees and good glide. By 11am it was 44 degrees and slower.

At noon today the conditions were excellent. Good coverage, few icy spots. Around 2PM the snow was beginning to soften.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I groomed the skating lanes on all loops except for the brown this morning. Overall conditions are fair. Warm temps through the weekend will change conditions quickly throughout the day. The best conditions are on the back portion of the red loop and yellow loop. Three downhill spots on the yellow will warrant you pay special attention due to iciness and some troughs worn into the center.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
It rained all day yesterday and froze up overnight, which made everything icy. The classic tracks were glare ice, so I groomed over the top of them this morning. Don't expect a lot from the classic tracks, could not reset the classic tracks.
I groomed all of the skating lanes on all of the loops. Someone skate skied on the trails yesterday afternoon in the rain and made a lot of mush marks and divots that froze overnight. This made the surface nasty and dangerous for skiers. Please don't ski on the trails when they are that soft. I was able to groom some of it out but not all. The skaters will find conditions to be fair, maybe even good all things considered. There are some icy spots to negotiate in places. There are three steep downhills on the yellow that have some deep troughs and ridges from snowplowing that may surprise you if not paying attention. The red/green and yellow have the best conditions. The brown has a lot of icy spots.

After a heavily skied weekend on the Zillmer trails, the groomer was out early morning, making for a wonderful Monday morning ski on freshly groomed trails! Thanks to the groomer for your time!
