Still fun and beautiful. Tracks pretty trampled in areas and got soft close to noon but good base and very doable.

Happy Birkie...In the past couple of snow falls, the Spooner area has receive about 18 inches of new snow. Volunteer groomer, Kevin Myers, reports that new tracks have been set out at the Beaver Brook Trails. There is plenty of coverage but with new snow it maybe soft in some areas. And remember to bring Fido as dogs are welcome to run along. Have fun!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Groomer Kevin Myers reports in that all of Beaver Brook West and 80% of the East Trail where groomed. The area received about 8 inches of new snow. There is still some equipment/logging trail issues with some ridges/groomer getting stuck pockets but it will groom better as the season progresses. Get out and enjoy the 15km classic and dog-friendly trail.
