While this snow is a welcome sight, there's not enough to groom a trail. Please also note that there is still thawed ground underneath this snow. Please respect that these trails are closed so we can avoid damage to the golf course turf. We will get the trails open for you as soon as we can.

The grass near my home was white, so... I put on my skis and waded into the goose poop at about 9pm Friday along Phalen Dr with the hope of finding something double-pole-able. No such luck. The short-grass tee box was fine for DP, but even the fairways had too many grassy (or poopy?) clumps showing to make a go of it. Spent 5 minutes "skiing" and gave up. But hey, "on snow" on Nov. 3? What's not to like?
