Conditions: Getting Thin - Grass Starting to Show.
Highland 9 Hole is starting to get thin with grass showing in many spots on the classic tracks and even some spots on the skate deck.

Conditions: Freshly groomed this morning. Skate surface in good condition with grass showing in many places, but easy to avoid. Classic tracks mostly fair to poor, it seemed like most striders were opting for skier-made tracks.
My first time at Highland this year, was the first skate skier out after the groomer, not bad at all considering the thin snow cover.

Conditions: Fair to good skating and classic.
The Highland 9 was packed and tracked today. Coverage is mostly good, but thin in areas. Tracks are good for over half of the course, but exposing bareground elsewhere. Overall decent skiing!

Conditions: Trail rolled, but no tracks set.
Decent skier set tracks did the trick. Overall soft conditions, sticks and assorted debris a minor issue. Wouldn't recommend A skis.

Conditions: Skied-in classic; grooming heading out as we left.
We enjoyed a great skied-in classic track this morning in the roughly 5 inches of new snow. The groomer was heading out with the rollers as we left.

Not groomed, fair skating with B skis the whole loop, fair gliding, some grass poking thru, very little ice.

Conditions: Poor - wet sticky snow.
Went out around 2pm. Not groomed and the snow is very sticky. Bare in spots and sticks haven't been cleared away from the fall. Really hard to get any glide. Went home after about 10 minutes.

Conditions: closed until conditions improve.
Unfortunately the ground is still too soft to groom. We'll get out there as soon as conditions are favorable, but it will likely be a couple of weeks still. Cross your fingers for some cold weather and more snow!
