All trails are open again. The 2" of medium weight snow that fell last night was groomed into the underlying hard pack to make for an excellent corduroy skating deck. Some softish spots but overall very firm. Tracks have been set on all the trails except on the hills. The tracks are firm but debris from all the tree and brush cutting is often mixed into the bottom of the track. Overall very good classic skiing.

An inch or two of fresh snow groomed into creamy corderoy on top of a solid deck made for smooth skating. Full depth classic tracks were set late afternoon.

About 40% of the trails are roped off as the crew continues to clean up downed trees. The skating deck is very hard and icy and somewhat rutted on a solid 6-8" base. There are about 2-3K of tracks set and they are firm with occasional oak leaves. Further away from the chalet the skating deck was a little bit softer and more manageable.

About 40% of the trails are roped off and closed due downed trees that not have been cut away yet. Where the trails are open the condition of the skating deck ranges from moderately good to uneven with soft spots and ridges and furrows left by the groomer. Almost all the trails have many stretches of snowmachine tracks left by the tree cutting crew. About 2-3K of tracks have been set and they are firm and fast but have spots where clumps of thawing snow from the trees above have filled the tracks.

The skate deck is still soft but firming up. The deck was uneven which keeps you on your toes as you go from gliding to soft. The "Woods" is closed. Another skier said the trails down below ("old I") are also closed due to downed trees. Beautiful scenery with all the trees still coated with snow.

Most of the trails have been groomed. There are some narrowed spots where trees are still overhanging the trails. The skating deck within 1K of the chalet is fairly firm, but beyond that it has soft spots and needs to set up more. No tracks set anywhere.

Our 8" of heavy snow makes for a beautiful snow globe appearance, but it also caused many trees to break over the trails and many more to bend over trails. The crew worked most of the day removing trees from the trails and managed to groom about 2K late in the afternoon. The skating deck is soft. No tracks were set.

Spring skiing: firm skating deck that softened just a bit as the temps approached 36 and then the deck was firm and fast with easy edge control. The cardinals are singing so that means the oak leaves have started falling and blowing into the classic tracks, which are mostly clear but there are sections of difficult classical with waxed skis. Excellent skating, very good classical.

Everything is grand to ski on. I did the outermost loop, saw 25 or more skiers. Groomed earlier in the day, still a bit fluffy but where skied it was more packed down.
