The trails at Swedetown are in excellent condition! The classic tracks are solid and fast, and all skate lanes were dragged this morning. If you're trying to break your most consecutive days are total miles/kilometer for the season, now's the time to do it because the end of the season is fast approaching and it doesn't get much better than this! Grooming completed at 11:30 am.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were dragged to provide some grip for skaters, but all skiers will find early morning conditions somewhat icy. Conditions will improve as the sun warms the snow and the best skiing will be in mid to late afternoon before the snow begins to cool again. Please note: signage is up in some places for tomorrow's Hoppet Loppet; please try to avoid knocking signs over. Grooming completed at 10:30 am.

Trails were dragged today; classic tracks are holding up well. Conditions are varied, with very hard trails and tracks predominating. Wooded areas are accumulating more debris as the snow pack contracts. Multipurpose Loops were also dragged. Please note: grooming patterns and schedules will change this weekend in preparation for the Hoppet Loppet this weekend. There will be slight reroutes on some trails to accommodate the race. Grooming completed at 10:30 am.

Amazing fresh corduroy after the overnight snow. Hard base despite warm temps. Almost no one had been on the trail since it was groomed, so tomorrow morning should be super fast after it freezes up. Sad to be leaving this winter wonderland and heading back to Madison!
