Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are tilled and tracked, but continued blustery winds pushing new snow accumulation is filling the tracks quickly, and leading to drifting in the open areas. Best bets are to stay in the wooded loops on Pine, Powderhouse, and the Tree Loops. The Multipurpose loops were packed and dragged. Grooming completed at 12:30 pm.

It doesn't get any better than today. Lots of new snow the past 3 days, all groomed to perfection. We are at the high mark so far this season, with an honest 38 inches in my backyard.

If you have forgotten what a real winter looks like, come to the Swedetown Trails in the Keweenaw Peninsula in the U.P.; they have tons of snow-over 250 inches so far this year-and they groom it daily. Although today's heavy new snow slowed things down somewhat, we really enjoyed these beautiful wooded trails ranging from easy to most difficult.
