Trail Detail
Notes
Small park near the end of the Gateway Trail. There is beautiful scenery with trails winding through pine forest, and near small lakes and picturesque farms. The course is quiet, sheltered, and has a lot of fun roling hills. Most of the terrain is intermediate in difficulty.Trail Reports

Gettin Thar! Still skiable. Only had to actually walk a few steps in a few places. Some good spots but mostly not. Not for beginners or novices due to ice.

Spring skiing. Tracks partly gone. Debris surprising little problem. Need to catch it at the best time between daily freeze/thaw. My guess is noon about right. Nice weather. Good workout. Won't last much longer.

Skate skiing was OK. Most of the trails had a quarter inch of new snow to get an edge in. A couple of places drifted to the ankles and some bare spots. Lots of debris, including lots of spruce cones. There have been more walkers than skiers on the trails. Classic tracks were very spotty. Shallow were existent. I wouldn't recommend classic skiing here.

Very good! Still more like new snow than old. Skate deck a little soft. Not quite set yet and sun and temp having some effect. Good base. Very little debris. I probably would've been better off getting out at noon instead of 3 pm. Tracks look excellent. In fact, classic may have been the better choice.

Pine Point was regroomed in afternoon. The ski trails are pretty soft and there is minimal debris and ice. Multi-use trails also were repacked and are also on the softer side.

Fantastic trail conditions! Thank you, thank you, thank you groomers for creating beautiful trails. Probably the best conditions I've seen all winter and that's saying a lot with our wonderful winter we've had. And skiers - it stays light until 7:30, so where were you tonight? Enjoy it while it lasts.

What a difference a 45 degree day makes. Skied around 11:30. Classic tracks were set, but were shallow and icy. Impossible for me to stay in them around turns. My skins kicked well for awhile but got saturated in one big pool stretching across the trail. Icy on the track bottoms and skate deck with some ridges and ruts to complicate the fast downhills. Debris from windstorms past are beginning a return visit. Without a substantial new snow, classic skiing at Pine Point is done for me. It was a good season though!

The ski and multi-use trails have all been regroomed and tracks were touched up. There are a few areas that the tracks have gone a little shallow but overall things are in pretty good condition! Soft and a little icy but overall a nice trails for March!

Trails were freshly groomed. The track was very clean, well set, but shallow in a lot of places. Hard to stay in on downhill turns. Was fairly soft in most places, a little harder in deeper shade. Thanks to the groomers for keeping us going!
