[ B skis ]
Boilerplate, flat and fast skate lane. Hard to get an edge but could still do so in most areas, some icy spots. Skied the lighted trails only, may be better in the woods where there has been less ski traffic. No classic tracks.

42 degrees and partly sunny. Can't believe it is February 13th. Debris on most trails. Trails are somewhat icy but you can still get a firm grip. Seems like the Camp is in another world with all this snow.

Pre-dawn ski today in 19 degree temps and modest winds. Groomer was out tilling up a firm skate deck creating some great skiing. Tracks not set from the trail head, but tracks exist in the tributary trails. Should be a good weekend of skiing ahead. Wax 'em up!

Late afternoon ski on a fast, firm deck. Minimal debris. Skated Birches and Maples. No classic tracks set on Maples. Icey and difficult to hold an edge on flats. Uphills fast and fun with much better edge holding ability. More snow (obviously) needed. Enjoy.

Beautiful early morning ski with a start temp of 28F. Groomers were out in force prepping for a (hopeful) busy day. Snow was just a tad soft with the new corduroy surface. Soft but excellent glide. Tracks on Maples not set at 9:30. Conditions were fabulous. Get out and enjoy this perfect Winters day. (The lot was filling up by 9:30).

Went out twice today. Conditions were excellent morning and night. 9 F at the start with a rise to about 17F by the end. Fresh corduroy this morning With a relatively fast surface. Excellent pole plant throughout. Birches and Maples were fast and fun. Solid 40K. Returned tonight with even better conditions! It was fast, firm and excellent on Birches and the entire lit loop. Popped off another 13K with temps in the higher 20's. Tomorrow should be fabulous.

It will be a great weekend to get out and ski at "The Camp"! Enjoy. Full coverage, hardening up from recent snow -- should be better and faster as temps warm over the weekend. Groomer was busy grooming! Tracks set everywhere. Pictures from early morning ski (4 degrees, windless conditions).

Classical tracks are worn and edges washed out in numerous places. Just not enough snow for grooming. It was a beautiful day - plenty of sun and little wind in the woods. Pleasant but far from ideal.
