Notes

This trail system is part of the Hiawatha National Forest and is ranked easy to moderate. It offers three loops providing easy access for beginners, rolling hills for advanced skiers, and steeper slopes for experts. The trailhead is located 7 miles north of Rapid River on US 41.

Fantastic trails, nice mix of both skating and classic trails. We arrived just as Glenn and Howie were finishing grooming! The grooming was greatly appreciated.
