We have begun the grooming process; packing all trails with the roller in preparation to fully groom the trails should weather patterns stay conducive. As of 12pm, we have 4"- 5" inches of a very wet and heavy snow on the ground and 1-3 inches under tree coverage on most of the trail's surface. After packing the snow with the roller there is a 1"- 2" base present on most of the trail. Some bare spots are present where the densest tree coverage is. No tracks have been set.

No trails at Zillmer are currently being groomed for skiing and all trails will remain open for hikers until we receive more snowfall and more consistent temperatures that are conducive for grooming.

While we are starting to have overnight temperatures reach down in to the 20s, we have yet to receive any snow coverage adequate to begin any of the grooming processes and the trails will remain open for hiking.
