Groomers have been working at picking up debris and renovating the North End Trails. Tracks have not been reset. The focus is on the main trail system and the World Cup/Tony Wise will be worked on as soon as possible.

[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Skiable. Icy hard base which has been roughed up enough to get an edge. Tons of debris. Enough that my skis would occasionally stutter as I hit a branch or pine cone. No bare spots visible anywhere I skied. "B" or rock skis for sure.

Fantastic conditions on the North End ski trails, the birkie near them, and the birkie classic though the birkie classic was a bit soft.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
World Cup/Tony Wise was groomed today. The tracks on all the trails have some debris on them from the winds today and we are a little short of snow everywhere so trails are a bit uneven. The short sections of the North End trail and North End Classic remain closed until we get a little more snow, detours are marked. The next scheduled grooming for the main North End Trail is Thursday.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
The main North End trail was groomed and tracks were set on the North End Classic trail. A short segment on each of these trails remains closed due to the recent logging. There are signed detours to avoid the segments affected. The World Cup/Tony Wise trail is currently rolled only but is scheduled to be groomed tomorrow, Tuesday.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Classic skied most of the main system today which had been groomed in the afternoon today. Tracks were fair to good. The logger is done for the winter but the section of trail from the A cutoff to the intersection with the Birkie trail is not skiable until we get more snow. Today's groomer reports trying to comb that section but was bringing up dirt and no tracks were set. The World Cup/Tony Wise and the NE Classic have been rolled.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails were rolled Thursday to help freeze down trail. We have received 1+ inches of snow since rolling. Trail is rough and soft. Please be aware there is an active logging operation going on to salvage trees from last summers winds, this affects several K's of trail. No further grooming is planned until we get more snow and hopefully the logging is completed.
